Subject:  Commitment to Regulatory Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering Practices

To: All Clients, Partners, and Stakeholders

JMD Investment & Commodities Trading (JMDICT) maintains an unwavering commitment to the highest standards of legal and regulatory compliance. As part of our core operational policy, we strictly adhere to all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CFT)  regulations in every jurisdiction where we operate.

Our Policy on Real Estate Partnerships

To ensure transparency and integrity in all our transactions, JMDICT engages exclusively with registered and verified Real Estate Agents and Developers. Specifically:

  • In Trinidad and Tobago: We only conduct business with Real Estate Agents and Developers who are duly registered with the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of Trinidad and Tobago.

  • In all other countries where JMDICT operates: We extend this requirement to only partner with Real Estate Agents and Developers who are registered with the respective country’s equivalent financial intelligence or supervisory government agency.

This stringent due diligence process forms a fundamental component of our risk management framework. It enables us to prevent financial crime, protect our business and clients, and uphold the integrity of both the financial and real estate sectors.

All potential real estate partners are required to provide valid proof of registration and good standing with the relevant supervisory body prior to the establishment of any business relationship.

By implementing and upholding this policy, JMDICT reinforces its position as a responsible, transparent, and fully compliant entity within the global marketplace.
