UN INTERNATIONAL DECADE FOR PEOPLE OF AFRICAN DESCENT (2015-2024).

CARIBBEAN AFRICAN DIASPORA RECONSTRUCTION PLAN:

INTRODUCTION:

The United Nations (UN) has acknowledged 2015–2024 as the decade of people of African descent. After 400 years of the Atlantic Slave Trade, most of the enslaved and colonized countries are still in a socio-economic and culturally underdeveloped state.

The UN, in its 2015–2024 declaration, has identified four areas of interest, inclusive of:

1) Recognition

2) Justice

3) Development

4) Multiple or aggravated discrimination

These four areas of interest must take into account the specific state of women, girls, and young males. This plan seeks to address item #3: development. In this regard, the issues of social, financial, and economic development are targeted. The purpose of this reconstruction plan is to re-establish the plans for the abolition of the Atlantic slave trade in the world and the western colonization plan. The slave trade has accumulated trillions of dollars for western nations.

This plan focuses on the interests of the UN, namely, justice: recognition, development, and economics. In this regard, the United Kingdom and the Caribbean region will contribute to the design of the African Diaspora Descendants Reconstruction Plan. This plan will be the economic framework to propose to the U.N. to strengthen its Economics paragraph and is based on the 2015 #17 Sustainable Development Global Goals.

PHILOSOPHY:

The philosophy of this project is centered on the eternal Zulu concept of humanity: ‘Ubuntu’. Wikipedia explains that the Ubuntu philosophy is translated to mean "I am because we are" and also "humanity towards others." However, the term has a more philosophical connotation: "the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity. Ubuntu, therefore, is an eternal African ancient philosophy of oneness. It also means humanity towards others and expresses all those intrinsic values that uphold the harmony of the essence of sharing among members of a community and the wider society. The ethical

The values of Ubuntu include, among others, respect for others, helpfulness, caring, community, unselfishness, sharing, and, above all, trust. In this reconstruction plan, we are using the definition of Ubuntu as "I AM BECAUSE WE ARE.”
