JMDICT recognizes that individuals may attempt to use perceived proximity to an institution to project an exaggerated or misleading image of wealth, influence, authority, or privileged access. Displays of status and claims of association should never be mistaken for verified financial capacity, institutional authorization, or an established business relationship.
JMDICT does not endorse misrepresentation, unauthorized use of its name, or the exploitation of perceived institutional association for personal advantage.
